Earl “Butch” Curtis
was born on June 23, 1955 in Lubock, Texas. He was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana where he attended John Heron Art School.
After a twenty year career as a brick mason, Butch began painting in 1998.
One of the few artists that does not sketch his work, Butch works on several pieces at a time and claims he is always learning.
Butch now resides in St. Augustine, Florida.
